If you think that the attractions in Bahamas Island are the only thing to look forward to when you are in the region then you could not be more wrong. This location is extremely popular for its golf resorts. Both the professional players as well as the new players can have a great time golfing in this location.

 

You will discover that most of the golf course in this region has water traps and good sands. As a result, the golf here can be quite challenging. If you are new to the game then perhaps you would like to join golf lessons and for this you will have to book the lessons by group or privately. Incase you are looking forward to private lessons then make sure that you book one day in advance. On the other hand, group lessons cost less and they usually have a prearranged class schedules.

Four Seasons Resort Emerald Bay Golf Club - This is a first-class golf resort that is located at The Exumas. This golf course has par-72 and 18-hole. Golfers with any level of skills would find this course to be challenging.

Crowne Plaza Golf Resort & Casino at the Royal Oasis- Located in the Grand Bahamas Island, this luxurious golf resort has Ruby and Emerald golf courses. Both the courses have sandy and rolling terrain with a par-72.

Radisson Cable Beach Golf Course- It is the oldest golf resort in the Bahamas and it is located at Cable Beach. During the 1930s, British expats used to stay in this golf resort. With more than seven thousand yards of greenery and fairways, this golf course represents a challenge to the golfers.

Ocean Club Golf Club- Located in Paradise Island, this golf resort is 18 hole and par-72. It also has an excellent panoramic sight of the ocean. With the biggest sand trap found in the world, this golf course have water hazards on the three sides. In fact, you may not be aware of this but popular golfers like Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus have endorsed the Ocean Club Golf Club. If you love playing golf then you would have a great time playing the par-3 14th hole.

The Reef Course- The reef Course is situated in Grand Bahamas Island at the Grand Lucaya. According to the Bahamian press, this course is just like a warmer Scottish course with more than six thousand yards of greenery.

It is advised that you take bring your own clubs when you visit Bahamas Island because renting them can be a little expensive.

Perhaps you can add golfing to your vacation package if you like golfing. However, if you simply love golfing then you might want to opt for a Bahamas golf vacation for the ultimate golfing experience.
