No One Can Forget The Bahamas Pink Sands

Pink Sands is located in the traditional Harbor Island and it gives off a majestic charm. In fact, this island is tagged as a celebrity hideaway by people. If you are searching for a location where you can have a fun time in the elegant beach then this is the perfect place for you to holiday in.

The area of the island is eighteen acre and you will find some of the most amazing and well-known beaches here. If you have not been here then you may not know that the beach in this island is pink in color!

The pink sands Bahamas resort was renovated by Chris Blackwell, the music magnate. The design of this resort is by Barbara Hulanicki, the Biba creator. The Pink Sands Bahamas resort consists of cottages (pastel-colored) on the edge of the beach.

You will also discover that the rooms in this resort either have a patio or it is facing the ocean or garden. The rooms have walk-in closets, wet bars, satellite TV and VCR, complete bathrooms, ceiling fans, teak furniture and air-conditioning. The resort has a tennis court, pool, exercise studio, restaurant, club house, beach house bar and a gift shop. All the cottages are made in such a way that they offer privacy to all the guests. The cottages are furnished in Moroccan, Indian and Balinese style designs. You can have a peaceful time relaxing in the private patios.

You may find this resort to be understated as well as witty because of its grand lobby (inspired by Morocco and the Far East) and also because of the bar created by stepping stones. There are so many things to do in the resort like swimming, tennis and exercise. On the other hand, if you are looking forward to some peaceful and relaxation time then perhaps you could just lie down on the beach, watch a film, read a book or listen to music.

If you are looking forward to romantic breakfast or dinner then you can go to their garden restaurant. In case you love having your meal and enjoying the scenic beauty of the ocean then you can lunch at the Blue Bar, where you can see the beautiful ocean.

You can reach the Pink Sands through an air plane from Nassau to Eleuthera. If you want to reach Harbor Island by water taxi or taxi cabs then you can also do that. The cost of the accommodation would depend on the kind of cottage you book.

The name of the resort has been taken from the island's sand. Basically, people come to this island simply because they want to see the sands of this location. The red corals are often seen in this area and when they mix up with the white sands, the beach appears to be pink in color.
